My Leader Is A Decepticon

There are all sorts of bad leaders that you have to deal with in your entire life as a corporate slave.

However, you know which one is the worst?

It is the leader WHO LIES.

It is the leader WHO DOES NOT PRACTICE TRANSPARENCY.

It is the leader WHO DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE CALLED A LEADER.

I call this leader a DECEPTICON.

This leader is MEGATRON IN DISGUISE.

I'm talking from experience. I made a very mature decision. Nope, I did not call on the help of the Autobots. I did not holler for Optimus Prime.

I know what I have to do.

I will choose peace. I will choose a stress-free life. I will quit.

There is life after Call Centers. Believe me. There is.

  1. I have worked at a place in which some of the leaders were awful. Some were great too. Fortunately the bad ones left rather quickly.

  4. Well I don't have any anymore since I am retired. But I do empathize with you and hope that you are able to find a work environment that is healthy both mentally and physically.

  5. It's always better to choose peace. Sometimes it seems like the hardest thing to do, but what's the point of battles? Both will lose. No matter what.

  6. If you can't trust your leader, that is a problem.

  7. Leadership is all about relating to your subordinates and not about ordering people around. I can't believe there are so many leaders who are like this.

  8. I am so thankful to not have people in my life that are deceptive... at least I hope!

  9. It's hard to work in an environment with a leader like that. Everyday it feels like you are just dragging yourself to work.

  10. I did quit. As soon as I could afford to do so I left paid employment entirely. I have never been happier or healthier. Oh, remember managers have managers as well and it can be just as difficult being caught in the middle.

  11. When you work for a big company like I do, it's often the case but I'm lucky. My leader is a great person and does his job really well.

  13. My husband experienced this with an old employer. It was definitely not a good place to be and we're so grateful he got out of there.
